Incorporated in 1989, Nikken Kosakusho EUROPE Limited is a subsidiary of Nikken Works Limited Japan. Its principle activities are the import, distribution and supply of the entire Nikken product range, which encompasses CNC Rotary Tables, NC Tooling Systems and Measuring Devices including Elbo Controlli Tool Presetters.

Nikken Works Limited, in Japan, annually produces some 500,000 toolholders, 3500 rotary tables and 250,000 reamers. It employs a global workforce in excess of 550 and has earned, and maintains, a reputation for producing quality products and demonstrating total commitment to its clients.

Nikken Kosakusho Europe Limited's headquarters, workshops, sales offices and European distribution centre are based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. This 20,000 sq. ft. facility also plays host to numerous invited guests on a regular basis for seminars, presentations and cutting demonstrations on the in-house machining facility.

NIKKEN is a manufacturer of Tool Holders and attachments for machine tools, we have been market leaders in various industries, i.e. Aerospace, Automotive, and Ultra Precision Machining ever since the company was created in 1958.

We are proud that our 'Total Manufacturing System' enormously contributes to all of the above mentioned industries from raw material to precision finish machining.

The word NIKKEN translates into 'Everyday Study and Research' a principle adopted by all our staff in their daily pursuit of excellence in their work.

We are continually striving to improve our technology through constant innovation to enhance futher the respect and reliability that our products have so far earned within the industries that they are used in.

Nikken's Osaka-Daito manufacturing facility opened during 2004. All product production and worldwide distribution are now handled from one extensive site.

Two factories, Head Office and all materials preparation and special treatment units are all now housed within this extensive facility.

1963	Launched Universal Rotary and Tilt Manual Table. Also launched Milling Chuck.
1964	Opened Tokyo Sales Office.
1968	Opened Nagoya Sales Office. Developed Broach Reamer.
1973	Opened Higashi Ishikiri Head Office and Factory.
1977	Opened Naka-Ishikiri Factory (Reamer Factory).
1981	Opened Nikken France (Procomo).
1984	Launched Carbide Worm System for CNC Rotary Tables.
1985	Launched AWC System.
1986	Opened Kita-Kanto Sales Office.
1989	Opened Nikken UK Office.
1990	Opened Shizuoka Sales Office.
1991	Opened Korea Nikken. Opened Moto-machi Head Office and Factory (former main factory). Opened Utsunomiya Sales Office.
1994	Launched NC5 Tooling System.
1996	Launched ZMAC Boring System. Opened Nikken China.
1997	Launched Anniversary Type Milling Chuck.
1998	Opened Nikken Scandinavia.
1999	Launched 3-Lock System. Opened Nikken Euro Centre in UK.
2000	Opened Sendai Sales Office. Launched Nikken Switzerland AG. Launched Jet Coolant Series.
2001	Opened Nikken Turkey.
2002	Terminated distributor sales in USA and opened Nikken USA (Lyndex-Nikken). Opened Hokuriku Sales Office. Launched Ultra High Speed Tooling.
2003	Terminated distributor sales in Germany and opened Nikken Deutschland GmbH. Launched TiN Bearing Nut for Slim Chuck and Anniversary Type VC Holder.
2004	Opened Daito Head Office and Factory. Central Production System has been launched for Tooling/CNC Tables and Reamers.
