Khyan-TW at GrindTec 2012
Nikken Kosakusho Europe Ltd will be exhibiting at GrindTec 2012 from 14th to 17th march 2012. The bi-annual exhibition is the biggest International Trade Fair in Europe focussed on Grinding Technology and is being held in Augsburg. With daily opening hours from 09.00 to 18.00 there has never been a better opportunity for those involved in the world of Grinding to come along and see a range of new products and solutions designed to increase their productivity, reduce costs and improve their Return on Investment.
Nikken will be demonstrating the new Khyan-TW hybrid Tool Presetter for the first time to attendees at this German Exhibition. This tool presenting machine has been developed as a more cost effective equivalent to competitor tool inspection machines. Constructed using ground granite and stainless steel with a single 23" High-Definition screen the unit has two outstanding optical cameras that also sport impressive digital zoom capabilities and users can import and export dxf profiles to check and compare tools. Easy to set-up and simple to operate the unit even incorporates additional capabilities focussed specifically on tool geometry.
The precision spindle system is fully interchangeable and uses a one-piece cartridge which eliminates the need for adaptors and any associated errors that they lead to. The spindle on the Khyan-TW also incorporates an innovative universal mechanical clamping system with its own electronic tool clamping confirmation.
The software provides a complete tool management system and working with your DNC system it can convert measured tool data in to CNC code for direct loading in to the machine's controller. For added convenience the system comes with Wi-Fi connectivity as standard.
