NIKKEN KOSAKUSHO EUROPE ANNOUNCES A COMPLETE RANGE OF NEW TOOL PRESETTERS.

Designed and manufactured in Italy by our partner ‘Elbo Controlli’ the new range replaces the existing range of highly successful machines that have been retailed and supported by Nikken for several years now.

Launched at the EMO show this week the range consists of five models: SETHY, HATHOR, KHYAN, ANKH, AMON RA. The unusual naming of the products refers back to the Egyptian Pharaohs and provides a link from the pyramids in Egypt and establish an obvious connection to the exclusive Granite construction and stability of the machines themselves.

All models now feature tool inspection as standard with most offering mechanical clamping of the tool holder pull stud with an innovative vacuum confirmation system to ensure correct taper location (preventing tool run-out errors through incorrect loading of the holder).

All models utilise Linux based operating systems with SD card data back-up. Linux is the preferred choice for Elbo Controlli as it offers considerably more software stability than similar presetters running under Windows based PC’s.

The entire range has been launched and displayed at the EMO show this week with the first initial models (SETHY and HATHOR) also on display and available from stock in the UK at Nikken’s Rotherham based Euro Centre. The higher specification advanced range: KHYAN, ANKH and AMON RA begin production during November and will be available during January 08.
