Nikken is a market leader in the design, sale and support of CNC Rotary Tables and NC Tooling Solutions, for further details please visit www.nikken-world.comWe are currently seeking a Service Coordinator to be based at our Rotherham Euro Centre.This is a varied and challenging role working closely with the Service Manager and Engineering team to ensure that work passes through the department smoothly. It requires an organised approach and working knowledge of a broad spread of Engineering disciplines coupled with the ability to deal successfully with both internal and occasionally external customers. The role would suit a time served Engineer or draught person educated to HNC or similar level in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering who is seeking career progression within a dynamic and fast moving organisation. AutoCAD skills and a desire for variety are essential as the role involves designing basic mechanical modifications, issuing parts for the manufacture of control cables and making minor changes to electrical drawings to suit customer requirements. It also requires a disciplined approach to admin and record keeping and an in depth understanding of our products and internal systems (On the job training will be given).Machine tool industry experience and residence within the Rotherham / Sheffield areas is preferred but not essential.
